Overview: Our client, a leading Trade Association based in Southwark, Central London, is seeking a Head of Membership Engagement to join their team. The role offers a salary up to £50,000 depending on experience, along with benefits such as 26 days annual leave, pension, life insurance, and flexible working. This is a full-time, permanent position with hybrid working and travel across England and Wales.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for membership engagement, recruitment, and retention.
• Build strong relationships with members at a senior level.
• Identify and target prospective members across the UK.
• Communicate benefits of membership and respond to inquiries.
• Improve processes and systems to enhance member experience.
• Manage membership applications, renewals, and related administration.
• Design and execute annual membership surveys.
• Promote activities through various channels.

Person Specification:

• Significant experience in growing membership and leading membership services within similar organizations.
• Experience in developing administrative processes, strategic planning, and business development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at the CEO/executive level.
• Experience managing CRM databases.
• Ability to network and work collaboratively across teams, with willingness to attend events across England and Wales.
