Job summary

Harris Academy Rainham and Harris Rainham Sixth Form are seeking a qualified Head of Media Studies. The role may include teaching RE if possible, with a strong emphasis on leading the department and improving student achievement.

The post requires QTS (or equivalent), a relevant undergraduate degree, and proven GCSE teaching success, along with evidence of managing change and raising attainment. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.

Are you a passionate Social Sciencesteacher looking for your next step? We are looking for a qualified, experienced teacher to join Harris Academy Rainham and Harris Rainham Sixth form as Head of Media Studies.

If you are also able to teach RE, this would be an advantage, but not essential.
