Head of Maths

Location: Wellingborough

Contract type: Full time

Salary: up to 60k

Simply Education is looking for an experienced Maths Teacher to lead a performing Maths department based in Wellingborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QTS Maths Teacher to take their next career step, or an experienced Head of Maths to continue to drive the team, or for someone already working in a TLR role and seeking a opportunity to grow.

The Role:

• Lead and Manage the Maths department through coaching, support and development
• Drive high standards of teaching and learning across all key stages
• Teach Maths across key stages 3,4, and 5
• Monitor school progress and implement intervention and coaching to ensure a outstanding outcome in results

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS and has strong classroom experience in Secondary Maths
• Proven track record of improving student achievement
• Able to demonstrate strong and effective leadership and management skills
