Job summary

Croydon High School is seeking an enthusiastic and accomplished Head of Mathematics to lead a department of five teaching staff. You will teach up to A level, inspire pupils, and drive enrichment across IGCSE and A level, while developing colleagues and upholding high standards.

Lead a thriving Mathematics Department and inspire girls to develop confidence, curiosity and a lifelong appreciation of Mathematics. As Head of Mathematics, you will lead a department of five dedicated teaching staff, with specialist classrooms and a strong culture of mathematical enrichment. Mathematics is one of the most popular A level subjects at Croydon High school, and you will have the opportunity to build on this success, further develop interest in Further Mathematics and support pupils preparing for competitive university entry. From problem-solving in the younger years to IGCSE, A level, UKMT challenges and wider enrichment, you will champion excellence across the mathematical journey while developing your colleagues and contributing to the school's academic and pastoral life.
