Job Description

A leading B2B maritime business in London is looking for a Group Senior Communications and Marketing Manager to join as soon as possible. This is a 6-month interim role, reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications.

Client Details

The company is a prominent B2B business in London seeking an interim Senior Marketing and Communications Manager for a new hire. The position lasts for 6 months, with one direct report. Candidates should have experience in maritime and energy sectors.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with Division and Group teams to develop a marketing and communications strategy aligned with company priorities.
  2. Partner with Strategy/Business Development teams to manage market intelligence, informing marketing strategies and plans.
  3. Lead marketing content creation and campaigns, utilizing appropriate channels and tactics tailored to maritime customer needs.
  4. Work closely with the Digital team to leverage digital channels and manage key martech tools.
  5. Develop and implement internal communications plans and tactics.
  6. Create and support external communications strategies and activities.
  7. Manage and execute key tradeshows and events in collaboration with the team.
  8. Support leadership engagement initiatives, including QBRs, strategy sessions, and safety meetings.

Profile

  • Degree in marketing, business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in in-house and agency roles.
  • Strong creative background with experience in design and campaigns.
  • Background or knowledge in maritime sector.
  • Experience across marketing, internal/external communications, and events.
  • Proven ability to work with leadership teams and deliver high standards.
  • Demonstrable passion for safety in all activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Experience managing budgets effectively.
