ABOUT THE JOB

The Head of Marketing and Communications plays a pivotal role in executing the Club’s marketing and communications strategy. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role is responsible for delivering high-quality brand storytelling, digital content, and campaign execution across all platforms. This is an on-site role, that requires a creative, hands-on leader with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of luxury audiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing & Communications Execution

  • Implement the Club’s marketing and communications strategy in alignment with the Executive Director’s vision.
  • Ensure consistent tone of voice and brand identity across all channels and locations (London and Dubai).
  • Manage day-to-day marketing operations, including content creation, campaign delivery, and digital asset management.

Digital & Content Management

  • Oversee content creation, copywriting, and scheduling for all digital platforms including website, social media, podcasts, and email campaigns.
  • Manage the Club’s CMS and ensure all digital content is current, engaging, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Identify and implement innovative digital marketing tactics to enhance visibility and engagement.

Events & Partnerships

  • Lead the execution of brand events, partnerships, and cultural programming in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Support the development of partnership strategies and manage related activations.

Creative Production

  • Oversee and direct photo shoots, videography, and production for social, digital, and print marketing collateral.
  • Work with external designers and agencies to produce high-quality marketing materials.

Internal Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Heads of Departments (HODs) to support marketing needs across business areas such as F&B, private events, Cultural Programming, People & Culture and operations.
  • Liaise with the international team to ensure brand consistency across locations.
  • Provide marketing insights and support in cross-functional meetings.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and maintain a digital library of assets (images, videos, logos).
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to keep the Club ahead of the curve.
  • Maintain archives of campaigns, press cuttings, and promotional materials.

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Creative Storytelling: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a flair for narrative.
  • Executional Excellence: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality outputs on time.
  • Digital Fluency: Skilled in Adobe Suite, MailChimp, CMS platforms, and social media tools.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, proactive, and solutions-oriented.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFIATIONS

  • 8+ years in a senior marketing or communications role, ideally with a mix of agency and in-house experience.
  • Experience in luxury, lifestyle, or hospitality sectors preferred.
  • Experience in Private Members Club is advantageous.
  • Strong project management and content creation skills.
  • Experience managing external agencies and creative production.
  • Confident, driven, a strategic and dynamic leader, can be hands-on whenever needed.
  • A true team player and collaborator, with strong key stakeholder management ability.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with grace and professionalism, and a good sense of humour!
  • Excellent communicator (written, listening, verbal - multilingual is a bonus).
