Job summary

Unyk Solutions Ltd is seeking a Head of Marketing to build the function from the ground up. This hands-on leadership role will shape strategy, working across customer-led initiatives, campaigns, content and events.

You'll lead the marketing to convert insight into propositions, engage key accounts and collaborate with Sales on strategic pursuits, while managing budgets and external partners.

Qualifications

• A strong track record of personally taking B2B marketing plans and campaigns from idea through to delivery.
• Experience working alongside sales, business development or commercial teams on target accounts and live opportunities
• Evidence of product, technical or proposition marketing within a complex buying environment
• Examples of turning customer insight into practical improvements - not just presenting it in a report
• Strong project management, prioritisation, writing and presentation skills
• Working knowledge of CRM, analytics, websites, SEO and campaign measurement
• Comfortable using agencies or specialists while retaining clear ownership of the work internally

Responsibilities

• Leading the customer-led marketing strategy, balancing long-term brand development with immediate commercial priorities
• Building direct relationships with customers and establishing a structured approach to gathering and acting on market intelligence
• Understanding the distinct needs of different stakeholder groups across a long buying journey and creating tailored propositions and engagement plans
• Partnering closely with Sales on target accounts, project pursuits, presentations and won/lost intelligence
• Developing campaigns, content and events that communicate technical and commercial value clearly
• Owning brand consistency across every customer touchpoint
• Overseeing website, SEO and AI search visibility, holding agencies accountable for performance
• Leading a small marketing team and external partners - hands-on while managing budgets, priorities and ROI
