Stena Drilling Limited is seeking an experienced professional to lead the Offshore Marine Department. You will supervise DP operations, maintain certifications, and ensure safe, compliant marine activities in UK waters.

The role involves deputising for the Master/OIM, coordinating deck and marine teams, and driving risk assessments and incident investigations to uphold safety and efficiency at sea.

Qualificações

• UK Class 1 Master Mariner certificate or entitlement.
• DP certificate/competence as required for offshore operations.
• Extensive experience on Anchored/DP drilling units.
• Experience as Control Room Operator/DP Officer on drilling vessels.

Responsabilidades

• Act as Head of the Marine Department Offshore and oversee marine operations.
• Deputise for Master/OIM in their absence on the vessel.
• Review and update risk assessments with marine crews regularly.
• Supervise safety drills and emergency team training to company standards.
• Coordinate workload and supervise deck crew for safe operations.
• Ensure DP and mooring operations meet best practices.
• Maintain marine certification, logs, and equipment registers.
• Oversee budget, compliance with SMS, and incident investigations.
