Job summary

Talantir is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee production and operations at their Shrewsbury site. You will manage drawing work, raw materials, component manufacture, assembly and QA to ensure high quality and market-leading products.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and lean methods.
• Proven leadership and clear communication skills.
• Experience with ERP/MES production systems.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Analytical mindset for troubleshooting and KPI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and operations across the manufacturing facility.
• Plan, organize, and supervise daily manufacturing and assembly activities.
• Optimize production schedules to meet demand and delivery timelines.
• Drive Lean, 5S and Kaizen for efficiency and reduced downtime.
• Ensure quality, traceability and regulatory compliance across operations.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehousing and logistics for material flow.
• Develop the operations team through coaching and performance reviews.
