Role & Responsibilities

A Talent Acquisition Business Partner is responsible for developing and executing recruitment plans by partnering with hiring managers to understand their needs and identify top talent through various channels.

Key duties include building talent pipelines, crafting effective recruitment strategies, managing the entire candidate experience, negotiating job offers, and ensuring seamless onboarding process. This role requires strong business acumen, analytical, and communication skills to align talent acquisition with an organization's long‑term goals.

Main Responsibilities Of The Role
  • Executes recruitment plans for assigned requisitions
  • Sources candidates to create pipeline for assigned requisitions
  • Screens and submits qualified candidates to hiring managers for all assigned job openings
  • Posts approved positions according to hiring timelines and established guidelines
  • Adheres to FUJIFILM Biotechnologies recruitment policies, processes and procedures
  • Ensures timely and appropriate communication with candidates throughout the hiring lifecycle
  • Updates and manages candidate activity (status changes, communications, interview notes, etc.) within the Applicant Tracking System
  • Leads and facilitates candidate debrief sessions with the hiring manager and interview team to ensure an equitable process is followed
  • Works with hiring managers to prepare and seek approval for offer terms; negotiates offers with candidates
  • Utilises creative sourcing techniques and branding strategies to attract and cultivate diverse talent
  • Participates in job fairs, hiring events and conferences (some travel may be required)
  • Acts as a partner to hiring managers regarding candidate selection, offers, market analysis and all aspects of the recruitment process
  • Provides expertise and guidance regarding target behavioral competencies and ideal candidate profile during intake meetings
  • Models core values and FUJIFILM Biotechnologies People Fundamentals to all employees and candidates
  • Drives exceptional candidate experience through every touch point in the recruiting process and ultimately closes top candidates
  • Oversees the coordination of interviews, establishes and maintains rapport with candidates, Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners
  • Partners with wider TA team to successfully execute hiring of assigned requisitions, as needed
  • Supports brand awareness to increase attraction of talent leveraging corporate brand and market FUJIFILM Biotechnologies
  • Monitors and shares insight with key partners to identify opportunities to leverage insights for FUJIFILM Biotechnologies
  • Participates in conferences and events, as applicable
  • Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications And Experience
Minimum Education & Experience
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency inIn Recruiter and Talent Insights
  • Technologically savvy, with an excellent proficiency in Windows‑based technologies and Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in working with applicant tracking systems and demonstrated ability in database management, record keeping
  • Prior experience working in a high‑volume manufacturing recruiting environment
Preferred Education & Experience
  • Experience in pharma, biotechnology or life sciences industry preferred

  • Complete knowledge and full understanding of area of specialization, principles and practices within a professional discipline. Assesses unusual circumstances and uses sophisticated analytical and problem‑solving techniques to identify cause. Resolves and assesses a wide range of issues in creative ways and suggests variations in approach. This job is the fully qualified, experienced professional, journey‑level position
  • Enhances relationships and networks with senior internal/external who are not familiar with the subject matter often requiring persuasion. Adapts style to differing audiences and often advises others on difficult matters. Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of information requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Devises solutions based on limited information and precedent and adapts existing approaches to resolve issues. Uses evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select right course of action. Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical points
