Job summary

StarVale invites a commercially minded operations leader to join the senior team and drive excellence across lottery, raffle and supporter engagement. Based in Galgate, Lancaster, you will shape scalable operating models, lead high-performing teams and embed automation to support growth while ensuring compliance and on-time delivery.

You will partner with IT and development to deliver technology enhancements, monitor KPIs, and steer change initiatives across the business.

Qualifications

• Significant experience operating at Head of Department or senior operations leadership level.
• Proven success delivering operational improvement initiatives and leading through change.
• Strong understanding of process improvement and automation with measurable value.
• Experience in regulated, deadline-driven environments with focus on compliance and data integrity.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability for decision support.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of lottery and raffle operations with focus on SLAs and quality.
• Develop operational lottery leadership teams and accountability.
• Review structures and workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, resilience.
• Lead organisational change initiatives and embed new ways of working.
• Identify and deliver automation opportunities to reduce manual work and increase capacity.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to define requirements and deliver tech improvements.
• Use KPIs and data to monitor performance and drive improvement.
• Manage budgets, resources and supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal and internal controls.
• Act as senior escalation point for operational issues and client concerns.
• Build relationships across the business and contribute to strategic planning.
