Job summary

Encirc Ltd. seeks a Head of Logistics in Derrylin, Co Fermanagh, to lead transport and despatch, plus warehouse operations across Derrylin and Ballyconnell. You will drive inventory planning, scheduling, and cost-efficient transport while maintaining safety and OTIF targets.

The role demands substantial leadership across multi-functional teams in a 24/7 setting, with a focus on continuous improvement, performance metrics, and regulatory compliance. A CPC and relevant degree are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree/Masters level in Supply Chain, Logistics, operations or business administration.
• Transport Manager CPC (Certificate of Professional Competency) Mandatory
• NEBOSH or equivalent preferred
• Demonstrable experience leading fleet operations, including driver management, transport planning and scheduling
• In-depth understanding of operating an efficient Warehouse to support manufacturing operations and customer demand
• Proven ability to develop, manage and motivate high performing teams in a matrix environment
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and resolve high level issues using internal networks
• Flexibility to adapt, lead change and make operational and commercial decisions
• Excellent communication across levels within the organisation
• Experience leading multi-functional teams in a 24/7 operation to deliver KPIs and plans
• Ability to establish talent and succession plans to sustain logistics health

Responsibilities

• Lead Derrylin site transport and despatch operations, coordinating inbound materials and outbound goods.
• Oversee warehouse operations at Derrylin and Ballyconnell ensuring optimal stock and storage.
• Plan and execute transport activities to maximise service performance while controlling costs.
• Ensure scheduling and collection of raw materials to support uninterrupted production and OTIF targets.
• Manage Encirc-owned fleet with compliance to O Licence and safety standards.
• Support inventory planning to position stock across the network.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams in a matrix organisation.
• Drive continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration to meet KPIs.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and professional development.
