Job summary

DHL Supply Chain at Infinity Park Derby is recruiting a Senior Operations Leader to guide a brand-new Life Sciences & Healthcare site. You’ll drive safety, performance and continuous improvement in a highly regulated warehousing environment, leading a team to meet stringent customer, quality and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in supply chain, warehousing or logistics.
• Experience leading change and driving operational excellence.
• Experience in automated or technology-enabled warehouses.
• Safety, compliance and colleague wellbeing focus.
• Commercial awareness and stakeholder management.
• Strong focus on continuous improvement and developing leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspirational operational leadership across the site to empower teams to perform at their best.
• Take overall responsibility for operational performance, balancing customer expectations, service, productivity, quality and cost.
• Act as senior operational point of contact for customers, leading reviews and building trusted relationships.
• Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring wellbeing and compliance across the operation.
• Coach, mentor and develop the leadership team and succession plans.
• Use data, financial insight and customer feedback to drive improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to mobilise, grow and develop the flagship operation.
