Jobbeschreibung

You will be responsible for growing and evolving SHEilds' global portfolio of products, ensuring it continues to meet the needs of our clients, students and wider industry stakeholders. Working closely with our experienced delivery managers across the organisation, you'll help identify ways we can improve our products and services and take the lead on projects that enhance the quality, relevance and overall experience. Using your knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning, you'll work collaboratively across delivery departments: Development, eLearning, VRQ/NVQ, Virtual (including webinars) and Classroom Learning to create engaging and effective learning solutions for our global audience. You'll play an important role in expanding our portfolio, increasing engagement, maintaining high standards and supporting our wider commercial goals. This is a genuine opportunity to take ownership of a world leading training department and influence its future direction. The role combines strategic thinking, project management with hands‑on delivery, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful professional impact while contributing to the continued growth of the organisation.

We are looking for someone who can combine teaching expertise, commercial awareness, and strong project management skills. You will be comfortable looking at the bigger picture while also being willing to get involved in the detail when needed, and leading those to achieve a shared goal.

You will:
  • Take ownership of continually developing and improving the learning portfolio, ensuring it remains relevant, engaging and effective for our learners, from initial concept and development through to delivery, evaluation and performance.
  • Keep up to date with emerging technologies, including AI, and exploring how they can enhance teaching, learning and the overall learner experience.
  • Identify and develop new commercial opportunities, as well as strengthen existing relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with professional and industry bodies.
  • Oversee the Learning Management Systems (LMS), ensuring it supports an effective, engaging and accessible learner journey.
  • Lead, support and collaborate with Delivery Managers across our teams.
  • Use feedback, performance data and industry insight to continually improve programmes and ensure they remain relevant and impactful.
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities within relevant sectors and translate these into practical solutions/products.
You will bring:
  • The ability to identify learning and development needs and translate them into effective, scalable learning solutions.
  • Commercial awareness, with experience of developing, growing or monetising learning products or services.
  • Confidence managing and developing an entire learning portfolio or programme, rather than focusing solely on delivery.
  • Experience using LMS platforms and improving learner engagement and experience.
  • A collaborative, proactive and hands‑on approach, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with a wide range of stakeholders.
Essential experience & Qualifications
  • A recognised entry-level teaching qualification, such as; Train the Trainer and/or Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET), formerly PTLLS.
  • Proven experience in project management, including the design, delivery and evaluation of training for a range of audiences.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching and communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with individuals and groups at all levels.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365 applications such as Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Experience working with managers and stakeholders to identify learning and development needs and implement appropriate solutions.
Desirable experience & Qualifications
  • Level 4 Certificate or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (CET).
  • Experience within the health and safety sector and/or a recognised professional health and safety qualification.
  • Experience of using and supporting AI within learning environments, with an understanding of how AI can be applied effectively and responsibly to enhance teaching, learning and learner engagement.
  • Experience of securing external funding, sponsorship or education grants.
  • Experience working with professional membership organisations, awarding bodies or industry accreditation frameworks.
Benefits
  • Enhanced annual leave for long service.
  • Enhanced sick pay for long service.
  • An annual training budget to support your professional development.
  • Professional membership fees paid for.
  • Funded wellbeing support, including CBT.
