Vacancy: Head of IT & Digital

Location: London, hybrid

Our client, a leading international standards-setting membership organisation, is seeking a proactive, solutions-focused professional to lead digital systems and IT operations. With a global footprint and a purpose-driven team, they are entering a critical phase of digital evolution — and are looking for someone who can help realize their digital vision and support long-term growth.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you’ll work across the organisation to optimise and manage digital tools that enhance operations, improve user experience, and deliver value to an international member and stakeholder base.

This is a pivotal role with end-to-end responsibility for the digital estate — including internal platforms, CRM (Dynamics 365), stakeholder portals, website, and IT infrastructure. You’ll ensure systems are secure, scalable, compliant, and responsive to the needs of a growing global community.

Acting as the organisation’s internal expert on all things IT and digital, you’ll collaborate with colleagues across departments to identify improvement opportunities and implement practical, impactful solutions. You’ll also lead on data governance, technical support, system enhancements, and digital project delivery.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a hands-on, collaborative digital professional with experience leading IT functions in a small to mid-sized organisation. You’ll have strong working knowledge of CRM systems (especially Dynamics 365), cloud-based tools, portals, and digital infrastructure — along with a solid understanding of GDPR and cybersecurity best practices.

You’ll be someone who sees IT as a service that supports people and performance — combining strategic thinking with technical know-how and a user-first mindset. An interest in AI, automation, or emerging digital tools would be a plus.
