Job summary

Carrington Recruitment Solutions is recruiting for a Head of IT Architecture and Data, focused on IT architecture, data governance and leadership. The role is based in Birmingham with a hybrid arrangement, requiring office presence two days per week and occasional travel to other UK sites.

The candidate will bring a blended background in IT Architecture, Data and Data Governance, with hands-on and strategic capabilities, and strong leadership to guide enterprise initiatives across cloud and SaaS

Qualifications

• Proven enterprise architecture leadership experience, including data architecture.
• Experience defining strategy, standards, governance and roadmaps in a complex environment.
• Strong understanding of business, application, data, integration and technology architecture.
• Experience designing scalable, resilient and supportable solutions across cloud and SaaS environments.
• Knowledge of data governance, AI governance, risk, assurance and control.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT architecture and data governance initiatives at a senior level.
• Define strategy, standards, and roadmaps for a complex environment.
• Communicate complex topics clearly and influence senior stakeholders.
• Design scalable cloud/SaaS solutions with resilience and maintainability.
• Collaborate with CISOs and other security functions to align with governance.
