Job summary

Head of IT Architecture & Data required for a Birmingham-based law firm. This hybrid role expects office presence about two days per week, with occasional travel to other UK sites.

You will blend hands-on technical leadership with strategic governance across data, AI governance, and cloud/SaaS environments. Ideal candidates bring enterprise architecture leadership, experience in regulated professional services, and an ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in enterprise IT architecture including data architecture.
• Experience defining strategy, standards, governance and roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of business, application, data, integration and technology architecture.
• Experience designing scalable, resilient cloud/SaaS solutions.
• Knowledge of data governance and AI governance, risk and control.
• Ability to explain complex topics to senior stakeholders.
• Experience in regulated or professional services environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise architecture initiatives across IT and data domains.
• Define architecture strategy, standards and roadmaps in a complex environment.
• Influence senior stakeholders with credibility.
• Collaborate with IT and business leaders to ensure governance and compliance.
• Coordinate with regional sites; travel to UK sites as needed.
