Job summary

HSBC in the UK is recruiting for a Head of Infrastructure Security Controls and Delivery Oversight based in Sheffield. You will lead risk and controls across infrastructure security, embedding key controls into platforms and operating models, and partner with engineering and risk teams to ensure effective delivery.

The role requires experience in security governance, audit coordination, and strong stakeholder management to balance pace with control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in cybersecurity, technology, or risk.
• Experience in security controls governance and 2LoD/3LoD environments.
• Strong communications and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide risk and controls leadership within the Infrastructure Security domain.
• Maintain alignment with the bank's Risk Control Framework and ownership.
• Drive control monitoring and reporting of KRIs/KPIs.
• Support compliance with regulations and audit actions.
• Translate control requirements into practical engineering outcomes.
