Job summary

HSBC UK is seeking a Testing Strategy & QA Governance Consultant (Cyber) in Sheffield on a hybrid basis. You will define Testing Strategy, QA maturity, and remediation roadmap across Cyber, working with cybersecurity project teams and Control Owners.

You will lead maturation, drive automation, provide training, and deliver audit-ready evidence, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor adoption and performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years QA experience in multi-team environments.
• 2+ years in a QA Manager or QA Architect Lead role.
• Experience supporting QA/audit readiness in regulated environments.
• Certification in ISTQB Advanced/Test Manager or similar.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence across teams.
• Familiar with Agile and DevSecOps delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Define Testing Strategy, QA Maturity Framework and standards across Cyber.
• Lead maturity assessments and remediation planning, including automation adoption.
• Provide training and monitor QA tool adoption within Cyber teams.
• Define metrics, dashboards, KPIs and OKRs for Cyber QA.
• Ensure audit-ready testing evidence and traceability.
