Job summary

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport seeks a Head of Infrastructure Delivery and PMO to lead an ambitious programme delivering major infrastructure projects. You will coordinate interfaces across government departments, arm's length bodies, local authorities and industry to de-risk and accelerate delivery while building a strong, collaborative leadership team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading delivery on complex infrastructure projects across organisations.
• Ability to develop, implement and improve project controls: risk, planning, scope, change control, governance and assurance.
• Proven ability to build relationships with partners and stakeholders to enable collaborative delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret ambiguous information for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of six staff and specialists, fostering an inclusive high-performing culture.
• Derisk and accelerate infrastructure delivery through robust planning, dependency management and governance.
• Produce high-quality reports for governance boards and committees to support data-led decisions.
• Coordinate interfaces across government bodies, local authorities and industry stakeholders to resolve barriers.
