Job summary

JD Group is seeking a visionary Head of Infrastructure & Cloud Services to unite Core Infrastructure, Cloud, Networks and Database Services into one high-performing capability across the UK and EU. You will provide strategic leadership, balancing stability with transformative change to enable growth and resilience.

The role demands senior leadership, commercial acumen and the ability to deliver measurable value through a blended internal and partner delivery model.

Qualifications

• Experience leading infrastructure and cloud operations at scale.
• Experience across compute, storage, virtualization, networking and databases.
• Strong leadership and commercial awareness for budget and value delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, operational management and transformation of Core Infrastructure, Cloud, Networks and Database Services as one integrated capability.
• Develop and deliver a multi-year transformation roadmap balancing service stability, risk reduction and business priorities.
• Lead and empower functional leaders with clear ownership, accountability and shared objectives.
• Simplify and modernise the hybrid technology estate prioritising security, resilience and cost effectiveness.
• Translate Group Technology strategy into an integrated Infrastructure & Cloud Services roadmap.
• Identify opportunities to introduce emerging technologies and AI-enabled operations.
• Own budget stewardship and supplier performance; collaborate with FinOps for cost transparency.
• Build an integrated leadership culture and blended operating model for delivery.
