Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting for a well-respected Higher Education organisation that requires 2x Head of Infrastructure roles. These are permanent positions.

These roles involve overseeing all aspects of planning, acquisition, installation, maintenance, management, operation, security, decommissioning, and withdrawal of technologies, systems, and services supporting the organisation's on-campus and cloud-based end-user experience, including designing and implementing multimedia solutions for academic learning spaces.

Role Requirements

• Higher degree and significant professional experience relevant to the role
• Recent, relevant experience in cloud and identity service delivery within a medium-sized corporate environment
• Knowledge of ITIL principles related to Change, Availability, and Capacity Management
• Experience working with a broad range of IT infrastructure technologies or core IT infrastructure-related technologies
• Substantial people management experience, including performance management, absence management, and coaching
• Permanent employment
• Based in Cambridge or Chelmsford
• Hybrid working arrangement
• Availability to participate in a scheduled on-call rota, including resolving large-scale support issues outside of core hours, potentially involving work evenings and weekends
• 30 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)
