Job summary

The East Kent Colleges Group is recruiting a Head of Inclusive Learning at Ashford College to lead and shape a high-quality inclusive learning provision. You will drive strategy, manage the day-to-day operations, and ensure services promote independence for learners with additional needs.

You will lead a team, develop safeguarding practices, and ensure the support is integrated with the curriculum to improve success and progression for all learners at EKC Ashford College.

Qualifications

• Background in education with experience supporting students with additional needs.
• Understanding of Educational and Health Care Plans (EHCP) management.
• Teaching qualification desirable.
• Experience in line management or leading a team.
• Ability to maximise resources and support curriculum delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead inclusive learning support services.
• Manage day-to-day provision and safeguarding.
• Ensure support is integrated with curriculum and contributes to learner outcomes.
• Lead, coach and motivate staff.
