Salford CVS is seeking a Human Resources and Organisational Development Manager to lead the HR and organisational development functions across the full employee lifecycle. This in-person, Salford-based role reports to the Director of Delivery and requires managing the HR Officer and ensuring compliant policies.

You will oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, safeguarding coordination, staff wellbeing, data protection, and reporting on staff information to inform decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the day-to-day HR and organisational development function across Salford CVS
• Line manage the HR Officer and support their development
• Provide timely HR guidance to managers and staff in line with employment law and policy
• Report to the Chief Executive and Senior Managers on HR, people and OD matters
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, contracts, performance and absence management
• Lead on grievance and disciplinary matters with policy implementation
• Develop and maintain Staff Handbook and HR policies to stay compliant
• Ensure GDPR data handling and HR records accuracy in reporting
• Support workforce planning, change management and organisational development initiatives
• Lead staff engagement and wellbeing efforts and promote equity, diversity and inclusion
• Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and oversee safeguarding policy updates
• Coordinate staff inductions, probation processes and starter/leaver account setup
• Manage external HR consultant support for complex employment issues
• Provide reporting and analysis on key people metrics to inform decisions
