The Company

Able Bridge Recruitment is exclusively retained to work with a leisure business in the Dundee area to recruit a Head of Human Resources.

The vacancy arises from a long-standing employee seeking a new challenge after reaching a plateau in their current role.

The Responsibilities

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be accountable for a team of HR professionals and will be office-based five days a week.

The role's purpose is to drive the strategic and operational HR functions within the business, including culture change, organisational development, and routine HR tasks.

On a day-to-day basis, responsibilities include:

• Acting as a senior HR representative within the executive team to implement and deliver the HR agenda.
• Developing and delivering culture programmes, ensuring talent management, policies, and practices are maintained.
• Managing the HR team and embedding HR functions across the organisation.
• Providing business partnering advice across all levels of the corporate structure, ensuring policy adherence and best practices.
• Managing talent budgets and pools in collaboration with the finance team.
• Overseeing daily HR operations of a complex, multi-revenue business.
• Assessing organisational HR needs and working with your team to meet these needs.

The Requirements

We seek a highly experienced senior HR manager or director, eager to apply their organisational development skills within a prestigious, complex brand. The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified with at least 5 years of HR management experience within the UK.
