Job summary

Isle of Man Public Service is seeking a Head of Operations for Highway Services to lead highways maintenance, projects and operational activities across the Island. You will drive performance, manage budgets, and ensure safe, reliable infrastructure while delivering the Island's winter maintenance and major events responsiveness.

As a member of the Senior Management Team you will develop workforce capability, champion continuous improvement, and shape the new operating model.

Responsibilities

• Lead highways maintenance programmes, projects and operational activities.
• Oversee budgets and resources to ensure safety, reliability and performance.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for winter maintenance and emergency response.
• Drive the new operating model and continuous improvement within Highway Services.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors and teams to deliver outputs.
