Job summary

ABL Health delivers the Healthy Lifestyle service in Gloucestershire. A senior leader will drive the service, oversee delivery of evidence‑based interventions and lead a team of Advisors across primary, secondary and community care settings.

The role focuses on governance, performance management, and continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on partnerships and improving population health outcomes in Gloucestershire.

Qualifications

• Delivery/management experience in weight management or behaviour change.
• Experience in managing large teams and contracts.
• Experience in using data to inform service development.
• Willingness to travel across the county as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong practice leadership, driving quality improvement and service planning across Gloucestershire.
• Lead and manage a team of Advisors, supervise performance and development.
• Oversee data, KPIs, governance, and reporting to embed the integrated service strategy.
• Develop partnerships with primary, secondary and community care stakeholders to improve referrals and campaigns.
• Ensure high standards of record keeping, policy compliance and safe service delivery.
