An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Healthcare at HMP Elmley. The role involves providing leadership and operational management in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting, ensuring high-quality patient care aligned with NHS standards. Candidates will be responsible for strategic oversight and collaboration with key partners, making complex decisions to enhance healthcare delivery.
An exciting opportunity for a new Head of Healthcare at HMP Elmley has become available.
You will be responsible for leadership and operational management of the healthcare service at HMP Elmley. You will work closely with the Regional Service Manager, fellow Heads of Healthcare, the Elmley healthcare operational team, and HMPPS colleagues. You will also regularly liaise with key stakeholders including commissioners and prison governors.
You will ensure effective clinical governance, including organizing and chairing local Quality Management and LDQB meetings, participating in regional management meetings, contract monitoring, and financial reviews. You will coordinate with data analysts and quality management colleagues to ensure all reporting requirements are met.
You will support operational managers and team leaders to deliver safe, effective, high-quality, patient-centered care. You will promote effective partnership working and multidisciplinary collaboration.
This role is based on-site at HMP Elmley.
