Job summary

Investigo is partnering with a private equity-backed technology business in Manchester to appoint a Head of FP&A. You will lead all aspects of financial planning and analysis, delivering sophisticated modelling and commercial insights to support growth, investment decisions, and potential exit planning.

The role reports to the CFO and collaborates with the executive team and investors, with strong visibility across senior leadership.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in private equity backed environments.
• Proven experience developing and owning robust three-statement financial models.
• Experience with recurring revenue and subscription-based business models.
• Ability to partner with executive leadership, investors and key stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities; familiarity with FP&A tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A function with forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting processes.
• Build and maintain integrated three-statement financial models for strategic planning and M&A activity.
• Provide commercial insight to CEO and leadership; challenge assumptions with data-driven analysis.
• Own annual budgeting, long-range planning and reforecasting aligned to growth objectives.
• Support board reporting, investor updates and lender presentations.
