Job summary

Our housing client in the Northwest seeks a Head of Financial Reporting based in Didsbury with a hybrid working arrangement. You will lead the Financial Reporting and Finance Systems teams, ensuring statutory reporting, forecasting, tax compliance, and continuous system improvement.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will guide financial governance and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders while developing high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Strong experience producing high-quality financial information.
• Proven ability to lead and influence decisions through analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of annual statutory accounts and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain strong financial controls and support audits.
• Oversee monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and reporting processes.
• Lead quarterly forecasting and support budget-setting with financial insight.
• Contribute to long-term financial plan development.
