This newly created, highly commercial, Head of Financial Planning & Analysis position offers an excellent opportunity to add significant value within a nationally established, PE-backed business with ambitious growth plans.

The Head of FP&A is a key leadership role, responsible for providing actionable financial insights, supporting business performance, and aiding strategic decision-making to foster growth. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the FP&A team and oversee the company's financial strategies and objectives.

What will you be doing?

• Developing and executing financial plans, strategies, insights, and recommendations to support business growth
• Analyzing performance, trends, and opportunities through financial modeling, variances, budgets, and forecasts
• Engaging in M&A activities, capital investment analysis, and cost optimization initiatives
• Leading, mentoring, and developing the FP&A team while continuously improving processes, procedures, and systems

Are you the right fit?

• A professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA/ICAEW, or equivalent)
• Robust background in FP&A and management accounts, preferably from a private equity-backed business
• A strategic, results-focused mentality with experience in key business decisions
• A self-starter capable of multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment
