Role and Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities
Financial Forecasting/Targeting/Planning
- Own the full Yearly Management Planning process and monthly forecasting process for all products, focusing on SD cost management—leading and developing the uploading process accurately and timely.
- Responsible for re-producing and developing detailed excel-based forecast templates for understanding all products.
- Conduct and report variance analysis and scenario analysis for regular reporting and business driving.
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial Finance team to support forecasting and planning.
Financial Management & Control
- Ensure the business segment's month-end results are fully understood and reported with value-adding commentary.
- Manage the preparation of the monthly reporting pack, ensuring data integrity and providing insightful analysis and commentary to support business decisions.
- Develop KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to track ongoing business impact.
- Support the Head of FPA in managing regular and ad hoc reporting within SEUK and HQ deadlines.
- Be a super user for NERP/systems.
MX Quarterly Commercial Planning
- Update and maintain commercial plan templates for all MX products.
- Consolidate plans (20+ for Smartphone and more) to present revenue and weekly sell-out data with short lead times.
- Support MX Sales team with plan template issues/queries.
- Work with FP&A Senior Manager to upgrade planning templates according to various requirements.
Ad-hoc Supports
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to deliver insights within deadlines.
- Coach junior analysts and foster a development environment.
What We Need For This Role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Part or newly qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Ability to implement process improvements.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Excellent analytical and attention to detail skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Quick learner of new skills and knowledge.
What Does Success Look Like?
Experience in a fast-paced sector or with diverse cultures within commercial finance.
The Interview Process
Two stages: first, an interview with an Excel test and face-to-face with 2-3 managers; second, with the Head of FPA and the Director of Commercial Finance.
