This thriving TV & Film group is an employer of choice and a household name in the UK and globally. They are seeking a Head of Finance for a 15-month maternity cover to oversee key UK business operations.

Reporting to the FD, this role is focused on FP&A and supporting the business as the main finance partner, overseeing management reporting, and leading a small team.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Manage the FP&A function: prepare quarterly forecasts, monthly re-forecasts, and annual budgets/long-range plans.
2. Support business cases and investment decisions with high-level analysis and recommendations.
3. Analyze monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and provide commentary.
4. Review month-end results to identify trends, issues, or opportunities for escalation to senior management.
5. Understand revenue streams and provide insights on maximization, including shaping new revenue deals.
6. Support the achievement of strategic goals and understand related cost challenges.
7. Review individual company cash flows and consolidate into group cash flow monthly.
8. Lead monthly review meetings with Commercial Heads.
9. Manage and develop a finance team of three.
10. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as directed by the FD, COO, or CEO.

Required Experience/Attributes:

1. Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
2. Proven FP&A experience supporting a dynamic business as a finance partner.
3. Experience in team leadership and staff development.
4. Media industry experience preferred.
5. Commercially astute with a proactive attitude, curiosity, and attention to detail.
6. Flexible, personable, with a good sense of humor.
