Your role as Head of Finance:

As the No.1 in finance, you will manage the day-to-day finance operations. This pivotal role supports the company's growth strategy, shaping the future of the business. The role involves improving processes, leading month and year-end activities, and driving strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting and Audit Oversight: Prepare management accounts, oversee annual financial statements, manage audits, and ensure data accuracy.
• Tax and Compliance: Manage VAT returns, PAYE, and other tax obligations, ensuring HMRC compliance.
• Payroll Management: Oversee payroll across two UK sites, address errors, and implement approval processes.
• Process Improvement and Documentation: Develop SOPs, review data processes, and implement financial reviews.
• Budgeting and Cost Management: Manage budgets, support cost reduction initiatives, and prepare forecasts.
• Team Leadership and Support: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering collaboration.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and reporting.

Experience & Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have experience as a No.1 in finance, strong technical skills, team management experience, and the ability to drive strategic change and financial accountability.
