An excellent commercial Head of Finance opportunity has arisen with one of the UK's most successful property developers based in Milton Keynes. A FTSE 100 and entrepreneurial business, our client has an excellent reputation for valuing the strategic input from the finance team, leading to long term career paths within the business.

Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, key responsibilities will include:

Coordination and review of management information reporting packs and Board Packs;

Have a detailed understanding of, and driving the business to hit, a range of project and corporate forecasts and targets;

Managing the consolidation and presentation of monthly profit and cashflow forecast;

Responsibility for controlling the project balance sheet, establishing a detailed understanding of work in progress, sales deposits, and accounting provisions for the development.

Develop the business plan for the project with other functional heads within the division and ensuring it is aligned to the Group’s strategic objectives.

Ownership of the budget and forecast for the projects, ensuring it is accurate and well managed, and ultimately delivering it.

Lead and manage the project finance team and ensure accuracy, quality and efficiency are maximised.

Manage the interim and year end process with external auditors through to sign off for the division.

Oversee all month end processes for the projects and timely delivery of management information to both the divisional management team.

Applicants must be:

• ACA, ACCA or CA Qualified (or overseas equivalent) with at least 5 years PQE
• Educated to degree level with good academic track record
• Be confident communicator, capable of making numbers meaningful to commercial non finance stakeholders.
• Enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment, across different business functions.

Salary Guide £90,000 - £100,000 + Car Allowance & Bonus per annum,
