Our client, an established and growing organisation, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to lead their financial operations. This is a pivotal role requiring strong leadership, strategic acumen, and the ability to drive financial excellence across a global business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Finance team, ensuring day-to-day financial operations are conducted efficiently and accurately.
- Develop and implement a future-fit financial governance strategy, including a robust internal control framework and group-wide best practices.
- Oversee all group accounting functions, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost analysis, and revenue recognition.
- Provide financial support and leadership across all global subsidiaries.
- Act as a strategic business partner to Sales and Operations, ensuring commercial risks are managed effectively to support growth.
- Champion the use of technology to streamline financial controls and processes, enabling sustainable international expansion.
- Develop and manage consolidated budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities and value-creation initiatives.
- Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient working capital is available for growth.
- Establish and maintain relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.
- Act as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and support the development of the company's ESG framework.
- Mentor and develop the Finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Qualifications and Experience
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, with significant post-qualification experience.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- International finance experience, including mergers and acquisitions, is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications and experience with Netsuite ERP systems.
- Exceptional numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to influence at all organisational levels
Benefits
Salary: £80,000 - £85,000
