Job Description:

Subject to the successful closing of the transaction with Spirit, after obtaining relevant regulatory approvals, the Head of Facilities Management and Real Estate Business Partners at Airbus will represent the FMRE organization of the site in front of stakeholders. The role is based in Belfast, where you will have a local presence and act as the main point of contact regarding FMRE related topics. You will coordinate services on site, ranging from Maintenance to Strategic Construction projects, acting as the customer interface and managing issues/escalations. You will provide operational direction and integrate technical teams to deliver world-class facilities and services to internal customers, inspiring and developing the team to meet business objectives and customer satisfaction. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and enhance existing facilities at Belfast, including new buildings and facilities to support changing business needs and increased production.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with the site manager and building custodians to define and lead effective site/building process routines and follow-up actions.
  • Manage action recording, follow-up, and updates to wider business areas on Facility Management topics.
  • Act as the key interface for Facilities Management at the local business level during working groups.
  • Support the site by leading reactive/unplanned daily issues across the plant.
  • Manage the team to ensure deliverables meet Time, Cost, and Quality standards.
About You:
  • Previous experience leading a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in facility management or building & construction, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Effective communication skills, with strong customer relation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and experience.
  • Awareness of relevant HSE regulations is preferred.
  • Basic financial understanding and project management fundamentals.
