Job summary

Warner Hotels in Holme Lacy is seeking a Head of Food and Beverage to lead multi-outlet F&B operations across the property, including restaurants and bars, with a hands-on yet strategic approach to guest satisfaction and commercial targets.

You will drive revenue, manage labour and costs, develop a high-performing team, and ensure compliance with safety and licensing requirements while delivering exceptional guest experiences across the hotel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in multi-outlet F&B operations with cost control and P&L management.
• Track record of delivering exceptional service standards and guest experiences.
• Ability to build and lead high-performing teams with coaching and reviews.
• Commercial know-how in revenue delivery including upselling and spend per head.
• Strong understanding of compliance across food safety, licensing, and health & safety.
• Strong operational and commercial execution with data-driven decisions.
• Proficient EPOS, stock control, rostering systems; MS Excel and reporting.
• Excellent organization and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across restaurants, bars, and outlets, ensuring smooth service and strong front-line leadership.
• Execute Head Office menus, promotions, and revenue-driving initiatives locally, maintaining consistency and commercial impact.
• Take ownership of P&L delivery for Food & Beverage, controlling labour, waste, stock and achieving departmental targets.
• Create efficient rotas, manage labour spend, and ensure adequate cover to meet service standards.
• Champion service excellence, monitor quality, and coach teams to deliver memorable moments for every guest.
• Recruit, train, develop, and performance-manage the F&B team, fostering engagement and succession planning.
• Guarantee 100% compliance with food safety, health & safety, and licensing requirements; manage audits.
• Support Duty Management shifts and collaborate with Sales, Events, HR, and Procurement teams.
• Identify efficiencies and service improvements, piloting and scaling within Head Office guidelines.
• Operate within approved financial and procurement processes and escalate issues to the General Manager.
