Job summary

Starwood Hotels in London seeks an inspiring and commercially driven Food & Beverage Operations Director to lead a high-volume F&B operation. You will drive exceptional guest experiences, financial performance, and innovative strategy across outlets, partnering with the Executive Chef and hotel leadership to maximize revenue.

You will lead, motivate, and develop the F&B leadership team with a strong presence across the operation, ensuring compliance and a culture of accountability.

Qualifications

• Passionate about Food & Beverage with a minimum of 4 years’ experience leading a high-volume F&B operation.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field is desirable.
• Expert knowledge of F&B operations with a proven track record of guest experience, team engagement, and financial performance.
• Inspirational and commercially focused leader who can motivate, develop, and empower high-performing teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to build strong relationships at all levels.
• Able to work across a 24-hour hotel operation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation and performance of all Food & Beverage outlets.
• Maintain a highly visible, hands-on presence across the operation ensuring service, presentation, atmosphere, and guest experience meet standards.
• Set clear expectations for the F&B leadership team and hold leaders accountable for delivering exceptional service.
• Monitor food, beverage, and service quality; respond quickly to guest feedback and operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, Licensing, and hotel policies and procedures.
• Lead and develop the F&B leadership team with a focus on accountability, recognition, collaboration, and growth.
