Job summary

Ageas UK is seeking a Head of Exposure Management & Reinsurance Oversight to provide independent governance across underwriting portfolios from Eastleigh with hybrid working. You will lead exposure management, catastrophe modelling and reinsurance oversight to strengthen portfolio resilience.

The role requires data-driven analysis, stakeholder management and ability to translate complex risk insights into actionable decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in exposure management, portfolio analytics or catastrophe modelling.
• Strong understanding of insurance portfolio risk.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex information into practical actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead exposure management framework across the business.
• Monitor portfolio exposure, accumulations and concentration risks.
• Lead catastrophe modelling and exposure assessment activities.
• Drive climate risk analysis and portfolio resilience planning.
• Identify emerging risks and provide data-led recommendations.
• Provide management information and reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Partner with underwriting, pricing, claims, risk and finance teams.
• Support portfolio governance forums with clear risk insight.
• Oversee the reinsurance programme and renewals.
