Ageas UK is seeking a Head of Exposure Management & Reinsurance Oversight to lead the function, ensuring deep understanding of catastrophe, accumulation and emerging risks. You will provide governance and challenge across underwriting portfolios and partner with key teams to strengthen portfolio resilience and sustainable growth.

The role requires strong data analytics, leadership in risk framework development, and collaboration across underwriting, pricing, claims, risk and finance.

Qualifications

• Experience in exposure management, portfolio analytics or catastrophe modelling.
• Strong understanding of insurance portfolio risk.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex information into practical actions.

Responsabilités

• Lead exposure management framework across the business.
• Monitor portfolio exposure, accumulations and concentration risks.
• Lead catastrophe modelling and exposure assessment activities.
• Drive climate risk analysis and portfolio resilience planning.
• Identify emerging risks and provide data-led recommendations.
• Provide clear management information and reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Partner with underwriting, pricing, claims, risk and finance teams.
• Support portfolio governance forums with risk insight.
• Provide strategic oversight of the reinsurance programme.
