Job summary

SolvTalent is seeking a Senior Estates Manager to assume strategic ownership of a large retailer's estate portfolio. The role is effectively Head of Estates, with direct line to senior leadership and scope to shape the function.

You'll lead an estates team, drive strategic lease decisions, and unlock value across hundreds of sites in a fast-paced, growth-focused business. MRICS qualification is highly preferred, with strong analytical and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Deep estate management expertise with strategic focus.
• Proven experience leading an estates function or team.
• Ability to analyse portfolio performance and make recommendations.
• Comfort working at pace with autonomy.
• MRICS is preferred; strong degree-qualified candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategy for a multi-site property portfolio.
• Lead and develop the estates team, focusing on proactive management.
• Drive uplift in lease terms and renewals at pace.
• Oversee strategic lease renewals and re-gears.
• Deliver high-volume site transactions and unlock value from assets.
• Utilise location-analytics tools to inform decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-decision culture.
