Job summary

Beach Baker is seeking an experienced Estates professional to lead major capital projects and manage a diverse portfolio across Bristol and nearby areas. The role focuses on delivering both new-build and refurbishment schemes, while coordinating with estates, facilities and external advisers.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in construction/property delivery, client-side experience, and professional MRICS/MCIOB/MAPM membership is desirable.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10-years' experience delivering medium to large-scale construction and property projects.
• Working client-side within an Estates environment is advantageous but not essential; consultancy backgrounds with multiple client portfolios considered.
• MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM membership is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the delivery of major new-build and refurbishment schemes up to £15 million, from inception to completion.
• Manage a diverse estate portfolio located in Bristol and surrounding areas, with a broad remit across estates, facilities, environmental management and capital projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisers to ensure successful project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

About You

We are keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

• A minimum of 10-years' experience delivering medium to large-scale construction and property projects as a Project Manager or Building Surveyor, with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Working client-side within an existing Estates environment would be advantageous but is not essential. Candidates from consultancy backgrounds managing multiple client portfolios will also be considered.
• Professional membership such as MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM is desirable.
