Job summary

WPP is hiring a Head of Communications and Engagement for Enterprise Technology. You will shape how ET communicates strategy, priorities and achievements to colleagues and stakeholders through compelling storytelling and stakeholder engagement.

This leadership role requires influencing senior leaders, driving engagement across a global technology community and applying AI-driven approaches to communications.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in senior communications, engagement or change communications roles within large, complex organisations.
• Proven experience developing and delivering comms strategies that drive measurable outcomes.
• Excellent writing, storytelling and executive comms skills, translating tech topics into clear business narratives.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills advising senior leaders across a matrix org.
• Balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery; lead campaigns, channels, events from concept to execution.
• Creative mindset; use AI and engagement techniques to increase participation and advocacy.
• Degree in Communications, PR, Marketing or related field; 365 Copilot experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Enterprise Technology's communications and engagement strategy aligned to ET priorities and broader business objectives.
• Drive engagement and culture across the ET community using storytelling, town halls, recognition and innovative approaches.
• Translate ET's transformation initiatives (AI, platform modernisation, cyber security, colleague experience) into clear narratives.
• Lead communications for major transformation programmes with project managers and change managers.
• Build relationships across ET and WPP, develop assets and channels for leadership communications.
• Help tell the Enterprise Technology story externally through approved channels and events.
