Job summary

Aspire, a FCA-regulated fintech, seeks a Risk Analytics Manager for the UK to oversee risk management and analytics at group level. You will partner with Data, Compliance, Risk and Management teams to manage risk appetite as Aspire scales across borders.

You will report on KRIs, lead risk initiatives, own the UK risk register, and work with senior leaders to align risk priorities and regulatory expectations. This foundational role shapes risk across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of risk management experience in UK financial services.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and related data tools.
• Ability to lead risk programs and influence senior leaders.
• Strong understanding of FCA expectations for EMIs and resilience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Report on financial, operational, compliance and regulatory risks UK and Group.
• Analyse and surface risk exposure; collaborate with CxOs and teams.
• Develop detailed plans to address core risks and ensure delivery.
• Lead strategic risk management and drive implementation.
• Own UK risk register; escalate and report to Risk Committee & Board.
• Coordinate with Group Risk on UK-specific risks and framework.
• Support FCA regulatory engagement and ICAAP processes.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships across tech, product, risk and finance.
