Marshall Land Systems in Cambridge is seeking a senior Programme Manager to shape and lead an enterprise wide delivery portfolio, ensuring programmes are strategically scoped, governed, and delivered within budgets and to customer expectations.

You will establish and lead an integrated PMO, align programme and project managers, and drive governance, planning, analytics, and continuous improvement across the business.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education in engineering, business or defence studies.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) or equivalent.
• PRINCE2, APM or MSP certification.
• Strong ICT skills including MS365 (Word/Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Oversee delivery of multiple defence programmes with scope, timeline, resources, risks, and reporting.
• Set and drive programme delivery strategy aligned with contracts.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Governance and evolution of PM processes to ensure compliance.
• Manage project teams: recruiting, training, objectives, and appraisals.
• Lead programme reviews and report on financial performance and milestones.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Lead Integrated Business Planning / Sales & Operations Planning.
• Champion digital tools, project controls, and data analytics.
• Drive process improvements for delivery efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Lead and develop the team of programme/project managers and staff.
