Job summary

Marshall Land Systems in Cambridge is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex engineering and defence projects in a collaborative, multi-functional environment. You will own project delivery, coordinate IPTs across engineering, production, procurement and finance, and drive cost, schedule, quality and customer outcomes.

Experience in front-line project management within defence or related sectors, plus knowledge of planning tools and EVM, is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Proven front-line project management experience in defence, aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or similar complex/regulated sectors.
• Experience leading or working in multi-functional Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) in a matrix-managed environment.
• Experience planning, executing, controlling and delivering projects with cost, schedule, quality objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assigned Integrated Project Team and own project deliverables.
• Ensure requirements are understood, documented and managed across technical, commercial, contractual and delivery aspects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, WBS and responsibility matrices.
• Lead risk and opportunity management with mitigation actions.
• Monitor performance using EVM, SPI and CPI and provide data-driven decision support.
• Support resource planning and forward visibility across bids and projects.
• Support governance and lifecycle management processes.
• Facilitate Lessons Learned to drive continuous improvement.
