Job summary

Keyrock is seeking a Head of Engineering / Engineering Lead to head the Options Engineering team and drive the evolution of a Rust-native systematic options trading platform. The role demands hands-on expertise in systematic trading, automated quoting, risk controls, and production reliability while leading a growing team.

Based in European or US East Coast time zones, you will partner with trading, quant, risk and infra teams to deliver scalable, robust infrastructure and competitive edge in

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in systematic trading, options market-making or low-latency trading systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Rust, C++, or C.
• Willingness to become deeply proficient in Rust, if not already.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an Options Engineering team of around 7 engineers.
• Own and evolve an existing Rust-native systematic options trading platform.
• Provide technical direction across trading infrastructure, system design, performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with traders, quants and product teams to balance delivery and risk controls.
