Job summary

Keyrock is expanding its Options Engineering team and seeks a Head of Engineering with deep experience in systematic options trading to lead the group. You will guide automated quoting, execution, pricing, risk controls, and production reliability, owning a Rust-native platform while coordinating with traders, quants, and risk teams.

The role targets candidates in European or US East Coast time zones and supports a primarily remote setup with global hubs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systematic trading or low-latency trading systems.
• Hands-on experience with Rust, C++, or C.
• Willingness to become deeply proficient in Rust.
• Knowledge of automated quoting, execution, pricing, risk controls, and market data workflows.
• Experience with production-grade, low-latency trading systems.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an Options Engineering team of around 7 engineers.
• Provide technical direction across trading infrastructure, system design, performance, reliability, and risk controls.
• Own and evolve the Rust-native systematic options trading platform.
• Partner with traders, quants, product, risk, and infrastructure teams.
• Balance leadership with delivery ownership and operational discipline.
