Copello is working with an established and progressive Defence Business to recruit a Head of Engineering on a contract basis.

The role involves managing a high-performing Engineering team, driving continuous improvement, and aligning technology development with future capability requirements.

The Head of Engineering will oversee an agreed-upon Engineering budget and lead a team of approximately 20 reports. You will have full autonomy over resourcing and recruitment, including managing contingent staffing.

Ideal candidates will have proven experience leading successful Engineering teams, with a track record of team development and strong managerial skills.

Experience in Electronics, Systems, and/or Software, particularly within the Avionics, Defence, or Aerospace sectors, is highly desirable.
